A global leader in enterprise financial technology launched a major digital transformation, with contracting identified as a critical bottleneck touching legal, sales, finance, delivery and executive teams. After selecting a leading CLM platform, they partnered with Counselect to turn contracting into a consistent, data-driven and business-enabling function.

We kicked off with an “Art of the Possible” workshop to define the future-state model, align cross-functional leaders and set maturity benchmarks. Counselect then developed a unified contracting policy, approval matrix, metadata standards and a global repository design, while co-designing workflows with legal, sales, finance and delivery to ensure clarity and adoption. We led user training and internal communications to embed the new ways of working. In parallel, we designed and manage an AI-led framework to digitise ~3000+ legacy contracts—using AI with human oversight for migration speed, accuracy and risk classification.

This is driving cross-functional alignment on contract governance, unlocking contract data for analysis and compliance, and is expected to significantly cut cycle times and accelerate deal velocity.
