Counselect has acquired Lawmetrik, a company we’ve long admired for delivering real impact for some of the world’s most respected legal teams.

Over the past few years, we’ve been interacting with Lawmetrik as fellow industry insiders and collaborators and were always struck by our aligned values. Alongside Lawmetrik’s fresh approach to transforming the legal function, we’ve admired its commitment to chase excellence with integrity.

From the point of view of strengths too, we are a great fit. Both of us believe in the integration of talent, technology and operations to help legal departments contribute more strategically to business and bottomlines. By joining forces, we’re meshing together Counselect’s experience in talent and consulting with Lawmetrik’s expertise in legal ops advisory and managed services.

We’re also united by a shared vision to enable legal as a driving force in the Global Capability Centre (GCC) space, which is expected to grow to $110 billion by 2030. This unprecedented phase of GCC expansion offers the perfect platform for the legal function to prove its capacity for impact, innovation and intelligence.

As part of the integration, Basil joins Counselect as Co-founder and President. Co-founder Ritvik takes on the role of CEO. Leadership includes Balanand Menon, Rishabh Chopra (both executive directors), Vaishali Gopal and Emerald Amara. They are joined by Siddharth Narsipur (Lawmetrik). Lawmetrik’s entire team will be fully integrated into Counselect.
