Counselect takes your privacy seriously. 

Like the solutions we offer, we want to keep this Privacy Policy direct and uncomplicated. So we’ve tried to cut through the clutter of legalese to explain why we need your information and how we intend to use it.

The terms “Platform” and “Service” in this Policy have the same definition as in the Terms of Use.

As a platform which provides professional opportunities, our selection and review process will involve human interactions and analysis. When we connect you to a client, you may be asked to provide more information. Your information will then be governed by their policies and processes.

We do not process any data related to children.

We will require certain fields of information mandatorily, and such information fields will be marked as mandatory. We cannot provide our Services without such information being provided by you.

When and why do we share your information?

We share your information with your consent. We share it with parties to provide us with: marketing, sales and customer support; technical infrastructure and underlying services; business and legal support. We may also share your information with financial service providers; associate companies which provide similar services; clients; social media channels for direct interactions; contact management systems for correspondence.

When you choose to interact with us via WhatsApp channel, your interactions with our business account will be subject to WhatsApp’s policies.

If you find and interact with a third-party link on our website, note that we do not govern their privacy practices. So we urge you to familiarize yourself with their policies before you interact with such websites.

There may be certain exceptional circumstances where we may need to share your information without your consent, but they will mostly be limited to when it is:

When you raise a rights request with us, we will take some time to evaluate, assess and respond to it within the timeline provided in law, and may seek further information from you to validate, authenticate and process the request.

How long do we keep your information?

We retain your information for only as long as it’s necessary for us to be able to provide you with our Services. The period of time will be determined with reference to applicable statutory limitation periods.

We maintain servers around the world, and we may process your information on servers located outside of the country where you live.
